With Spencer Gear’s broad range of services – from webstores to kitting and fulfillment, and design – their employees found themselves “wearing every hat” with no clear handoffs or processes between different teams. This especially hindered sales reps from focusing on sales.

Reps were glued to their computers trying to sell and process their own orders, with little visibility into order margins and other important data. Their SAGE sites had little filtering, distracting sales reps with low-quantity, low-margin business they didn’t want.

Spencer Gear’s previous software – a combination of Epromo, SAGE, Xero, and more – was fragmented and inefficient. While team members who had been with the company for a while got used to how the system worked, they knew the technology lacked what they needed to work efficiently from start to finish – from placing orders to invoicing.
