Community Takes Center Stage at Facilisgroup Partner Summit
200+ converge on Nashville for the first major Facilisgroup partner event in two years.
SAINT LOUIS, MISSOURI, June 22, 2021 – Facilisgroup, a leading software-as-a-service company and partnering community within the promotional products industry, has proudly returned to its roots of providing celebrated experiences for their distributor and supplier partners with its recent 2021 Partner Summit, a three-day event dedicated to industry education, innovation and community.
Beginning June 14, the paths of over 200 industry professionals merged in Nashville, Tennessee, for the first Facilisgroup Partner Summit in two years. With in-person events a vital piece of Facilisgroup’s pillar of community, it’s been a particularly difficult 16 months, as lockdowns and restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic made such events an impossibility. Recent advancements due to vaccinations and the subsequent loosening of restrictions provided Facilisgroup precisely the right opportunity to reconnect with their partners.
“Simply seeing our partners in-person again had such an impact on us,” said Ashley McCune, President of Facilisgroup. “But to hug, chat and spend meaningful time with these individuals, after so long, just meant so much.”
The three-day event was rooted in a theme of Change PurposeFULLY, an idea born out of the need to adapt in response to the challenges the last 18 months brought to the promo industry, but serves as a daily reminder that change can be good, and purposeful change can be transformative. The theme was woven throughout the sessions, which included a combination of Facilisgroup executives, distributors and suppliers presenting on topics such as customer journey, profitability, expanded services and supply chain, among several others. Additionally, Ashley McCune presented on the current state of Facilisgroup, which included valuable information and product-related announcements, ASI’s Tim Andrews provided a very beneficial State of the Industry presentation, and decorated Air Force Fighter Pilot Lt. Col Waldo Waldman provided the inspiring keynote, “Never Fly Solo.”
While the curriculum provided attendees with an abundance of valuable takeaways to apply to their businesses, the common thread that was echoed throughout the event was the importance of the Facilisgroup community. Facilisgroup partners have a unique, unrivaled bond built on mutual trust and respect for each other, which develops into long-lasting friendships. The Partner Summit provided these partners a much-needed opportunity to renew old relationships and forge new ones, something that has been terribly missed over the past year.
“Although we only joined Facilisgroup last year, during the pandemic, the Partner Summit really made us feel like part of the family,” said Rick Roth, President of Imageworks. “This was a superb, top-notch event that was well planned and executed, especially in spite of the past year’s challenges. My only regret is that I wish I had spent even more time getting to know other members of the Facilisgroup community.”
No Facilisgroup Partner Summit would be complete without a healthy dose of fun, which included a private tour, concert and dinner at the Country Music Hall of Fame, a private rooftop concert experience at Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar and a walking Scavenger Hunt through the streets of downtown Nashville. Additionally, the Facilisgroup team has been committed to leaving Nashville better than they found it by partnering with two amazing organizations dedicated to making a difference in the lives of Nashville area children, raising over $8000 to date for the United Way Stuff the Bus and Gabe’s Chemo Duck programs – just another impactful way for the Facilisgroup Community to come together.
“Our community never ceases to amaze me, and the Partner Summit was no exception,” said McCune. “With what we’ve all been through over the past year, this may have been the most meaningful community event in our history. It managed to capture and exemplify what makes our relationship with our partners so special, and for that, we are grateful.”
