Facilisgroup Announces Plans for MCP Server, New Head of AI, Enhanced Product Search, & SOC 2 Type II Compliance at the 2026 Facilisgroup Summit
CHICAGO, IL — July 13, 2026 — Facilisgroup, the leading promotional product software provider, today made several product announcements for Syncore, its 360° Promo Platform, shared at their annual Facilisgroup Summit. Spanning plans for an MCP server and built-in AI tools, a new product search experience, and SOC 2 Type II compliance, these innovations deliver a faster, richer software experience and benefit Facilisgroup suppliers, distributors, and ultimately, distributor end clients.
Facilisgroup’s AI Vision & Head of AI Appointment
Facilisgroup shared its vision for human-centric AI in Syncore — built not to replace distributors, but to help them move faster, increase capacity, and gain competitive edge by utilizing complete business context and decades of industry insights.
The roadmap starts with MCP (Model Context Protocol) support in 2027, letting distributors securely connect Syncore data and business processes to the external AI tools they use already. The MCP server will be followed by the Syncore Data Suite with AI-powered dashboards and proactive recommendations, and then AI tools built directly into Syncore’s workflows.
To lead this vision forward, Facilisgroup announced the promotion of Liam Conlan to SVP of Technology & Head of AI, overseeing the company’s AI strategy, R&D, and technology roadmap.
“The best distributors have always won on relationships and expertise — AI doesn’t change that,” said Liam Conlan, SVP of Technology & Head of AI. “What it does is give them back time: less digging for data, more time with clients. That’s the foundation we’re building with MCP, and it’s just the beginning.”
Enhanced Syncore Product Search — Synced, Intuitive, Fast
Facilisgroup announced a new product search experience inside Syncore. With these enhancements, distributors can filter, compare, and view color, size, and pricing details on the spot, then add a product directly into a Proposal in one step — all without toggling between supplier sites. Live Inventory is pulled for over 100 suppliers, almost doubling the previous count.
The new product search helps distributors find the right products and details intuitively, so they can turn around high-converting Proposals faster.
SOC 2 Type II Compliance Achieved
Rounding out the announcements, Facilisgroup confirmed Syncore has achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance, giving distributors and their clients confidence their data is protected. The certification lays the foundation for the Syncore Data Suite and future AI capabilities, and for distributors, opens the door to larger, enterprise-level clients.
“Enterprise clients expect this level of security before they’ll even have the conversation,” said Matthew Cromar, Chief Product Officer at Facilisgroup. “SOC 2 Type II compliance isn’t just about protecting data — it’s about opening doors for our distributors that weren’t open before. And as AI becomes intertwined with distributor workflows, that layer of trust matters even more.”
Together, these announcements reflect Facilisgroup’s continued investment in AI, innovation, and trust — giving distributors the technology and security they need to scale profitably.
